Benefits of being healthy before losing weight
When it comes to losing weight, there is a school of thought that believes that being healthy should come first in order to succeed with a planned out weight loss regimen. The other school of thought believes that you must act out on the weight loss routines in order to get healthy.
The question is - which is the horse and which is the cart? Where are folks in this context - putting the cart before the horse!

If you are not too fit and then set impracticable expectations, you are more likely to regain any weight lost as soon as you lose it, but if you make realistic lifestyle changes with regards to healthy living, the lost pounds will stay away. Going for weight loss exercises while not mentally or physically fit will rather result to more health complications and even weight gain.

I deviated from a perfectly good program into a bit of laziness, loss of a love one and a challenge of being not so dedicated. Sometimes I had a great day of wanting to stick to my diet and exercise program and other days I pretended that I would catch up later. Huh? Yep, I failed to stay dedicated, but at least I did lose weight only to gain back some of it. So, I decided to try again with a little more responsibility. So, here it goes again. Okay. Here is the plan.
I am going to try to lose weight during a eight week period and then give the results and share the secret with you. You will not believe it. So let's get back around August 15th 2016 since we have a holiday coming. By the way, as of today, I am at 214.4 lbs.

Trying to stay in shape is an easy task if exercising and dieting has been habitual. However, if you exercise now and then and diet when you feel like it, then controlling your weight could become a little challenging. My Personal Progression
It has been over a couple of years since I've concentrated on being serious on fat loss. However, I have daily told myself that I'm going to the gym one day, I'm going this evening, I'm going in the morning or I'm going to start this new year right. I always ended up disappointing myself. So, I decided to find out more about me. What is it that I like to do and do more often without quitting?
Well for my wife's sake, I can do what I like more often if I introduce more discipline in my diet and exercise. Also, I asked myself do I care and love myself? So, my answer to that was yes. Well, what am I going to do about it? Do I want to die or do I want to live. I chose life.
Now, I am eating better for starters. I let my wife fix my meals because she seems to be more health conscience about my diet than I am. Wonder what her motivation is? I will give it 30 days to find out. Meanwhile, I am walking more and going to the gym twice a week for now. I will post a few pictures at that to see if I have made any progress.
